📋 Description

• Lead the mechanical discipline on multiple concurrent projects through pursuit, proposal, design, and construction phases • Lead design teams and mentor junior staff • Develop construction-ready design packages of drawings and specifications with inter-discipline coordination • Serve as Engineer of Record • Design HVAC systems and sustainable solutions with architects, engineers, project managers, and clients • Develop budgets, proposals, schedules, project plans, and staffing plans • Pursue potential clients and project opportunities • Travel to project sites for engineering site surveys and data collection • Conduct power system studies and electrical system audits • Collaborate with clients’ team members

🎯 Requirements

• U.S. citizenship is required for federal employment eligibility • Experience with Federal Projects • Bachelor of Science (BS) in Mechanical Engineering • At least 8 to 10 years of experience or more in consulting engineering and facility design • Experience producing IFC design packages for federal agency facilities • Professional Engineering Licensure in the United States • Multiple state licenses preferred • Knowledge of industry standards including ASHRAE, UFC, and UFGS, and building codes • Fluency in Revit, BIM, Autodesk Construction Cloud, AutoCAD, Trane Trace, and SpecsIntact • Strong communication skills for presentations, project communications, and written documents • Ability to build positive relationships with internal and external team members • Ability to develop additional project opportunities
