📋 Description

• Own the health and accuracy of Arize's product documentation as products evolve • Build automation to monitor documentation quality, detect documentation-code drift, test code samples, and draft updates for human review • Make documentation usable by coding agents and humans through structured content, machine-readable indexes, and agent-task completion measurement • Write and refresh tutorials, cookbooks, and open-source demonstration repositories • Ensure Arize is accurately documented by integration partners, framework maintainers, and course and curriculum authors • Create onboarding experiences that help new users reach their first working evaluation unassisted • Convert community feedback into actionable product insights for open-source and commercial product roadmaps • Provide source material for field marketing, SEO, and answer-engine-focused website copy • Interact with the developer community at conferences, trade shows, meetups, Slack, and other channels • Serve as the first point of contact for community product questions and direct members to appropriate teams • Collaborate with Product to prototype spikes for new features and product directions

🎯 Requirements

• 3+ years in technical writing, documentation engineering, developer relations, or an engineering role with substantial writing • Excellent technical communication skills demonstrated through public-facing documentation, blog posts, or videos • Up-to-date engineering skills, including docs-as-code workflows, CI, and comfort working in a repository • Working knowledge of LLM-based application development, such as agents, RAG, and orchestration frameworks • Genuine interest in how agents read and use documentation and in building related tooling • Curious and self-motivated continuous learner, comfortable with startup ambiguity and rapid iteration • Willingness to attend occasional evening and weekend in-person events locally or within a few hours' travel • Familiarity with evaluations and observability space, including products like Arize (bonus) • Experience building documentation automation, such as link checking, snippet testing, style linting, or LLM-assisted review (bonus) • Opinions about llms.txt, documentation MCP servers, and machine-readable documentation approaches (bonus) • Engagement in technical communities on X, Reddit, Slack, Discord, Dev.to, or similar platforms (bonus) • Experience running or contributing to open-source projects such as Arize Phoenix (bonus)
