📋 Description

• Partner with Engineering, Product, leadership, and other business teams on financial planning and decision support • Collaborate with Accounting on month-end close, accruals, and capitalization policies • Own budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning for key functions, primarily R&D • Translate technical roadmaps into financial plans • Develop and track cost-efficiency and headcount-productivity metrics • Evaluate product initiatives, infrastructure investments, and business opportunities using financial models and business cases • Support resource prioritization across competing initiatives • Conduct scenario analysis on growth, cost, and operational-efficiency trade-offs • Lead budgeting cycles and monthly/quarterly forecast updates • Analyze variances and provide actionable insights • Build scalable processes, reporting frameworks, and dashboards • Improve visibility into spend, hiring, and investment performance • Drive automation and tooling enhancements across FP&A systems • Report to the Director of Strategic Finance

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in FP&A, strategic finance, investment banking, or related roles • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or related field • Experience supporting Engineering, Product, R&D, or other technical/business functions preferred • Strong financial modeling skills, including scenario modeling, investment analysis, and headcount planning • Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis in a high-growth environment • Familiarity with software development cost capitalization and related accounting concepts is a plus • Experience with financial systems such as NetSuite, Pigment, or similar, and data tools • Advanced Excel proficiency required • MBA or CPA/CFA preferred
