📋 Description

• Deliver high-level service to clients • Lead tax engagements with confidence • Serve privately held businesses and their owners • Handle business returns, personal returns, trusts, and other client needs • Manage multiple engagements • Review tax returns • Mentor junior staff • Communicate directly with business owners • Build client relationships • Solve client problems • Balance leadership responsibilities with hands-on work • Contribute to a collaborative, supportive, and forward-thinking team

🎯 Requirements

• At least 5+ years in a Manager role with tax experience in public accounting • Experience at a mid-size firm (40+ FTE) • Strong background serving privately held businesses and their owners • Experience handling business returns, personal returns, trusts, and other client needs • Comfortable managing multiple engagements, reviewing returns, and mentoring junior staff • EA credential required • CPA preferred • Client-facing leadership experience • Clear communication and relationship-building ability • Ability to balance leadership with hands-on work • Tax technical expertise • Client-first mindset • Track record of growing within a mid-sized firm
