📋 Description

• Create, analyze, manage, and deliver comprehensive reports of bank and insurance company owned life insurance (BOLI & ICOLI) policies for assigned clients • Develop and maintain an in-depth understanding of each client’s reporting needs • Research and resolve issues concerning products, policy values, crediting rates, and other report information • Prepare, review, and deliver all client reporting • Perform quality control checks and report client satisfaction and relevant issues to the supervisor and Relationship Manager • Develop and maintain understanding of trends for each client’s BOLI/ICOLI portfolio • Gather and analyze data to identify trends and draw meaningful conclusions • Develop methodology for regular yield analysis and identify portfolio changes • Perform financial functions and Excel cell manipulation, including IRR and VLOOKUP • Create ad hoc schedules and reports based on client requests • Solve complex problems and improve processes • Maintain knowledge of the proprietary BOLI/ICOLI administration system • Assist with regulatory requirements implementation and ongoing maintenance • Contribute to executive-level reports, materials, and administrative standards • Maintain understanding of day-to-day workflow processes for assigned client plans • Facilitate communication between business lines represented in Ascensus’ Newport team • Participate in setting department standards, processes, and procedures • Protect, secure, and properly handle confidential client data

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university in Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics, or related field • 3-5 years of total experience within the banking or insurance industry or equivalent combination of education and experience • Must have advanced MS Office skills, especially in Excel • Crystal Reports • Life Insurance license or ability to obtain within 6 months • In-depth knowledge of accounting principles preferred • Ability to handle large volumes of Personally Identifiable Information (PII) sensitively • Understanding of general account, separate account, and hybrid account insurance policies • Comprehensive understanding of separate account BOLI/ICOLI policies and related stable value features • Understanding of product mortality treatment features • Ability to read and interpret life insurance policy and related document provisions • Knowledge of accounting concepts • Understanding of tax, regulatory, and GAAP standards impacting BOLI/ICOLI • Strong understanding of time value of money concepts • Ability to work independently under tight deadlines and adapt to changing priorities • Collaborative communication and knowledge-sharing skills
