📋 Description

• Perform routine and moderate to highly complex computer programming work • Carry out or coordinate programming projects • Analyze proposed applications and design software solutions • Troubleshoot support issues for a proprietary case management system • Write readable code following established standards • Contribute to technical designs and attend design meetings as needed • Develop and update coding standards and practices • Research and apply findings to code • Evaluate, assess, and correct bugs with minimal to no oversight • Use tools in applicable environments • Troubleshoot previously assigned or non-complex issues • Perform complex coding and debugging of applications • Write instructions, manuals, and end-user documentation when necessary • Participate in code reviews and pull requests within and across teams • Contribute to team objectives • May mentor other developers

🎯 Requirements

• Proficient with programming languages and tools appropriate to the team and its projects • Understanding of object-oriented design concepts and development patterns • Ability to plan, manage, and track own work • Willingness to learn and take on new challenges; self-directed and highly motivated • Skilled in problem-solving, critical thinking, and processing information logically • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent years of experience • 3+ years’ experience in software development in a business environment, including web development, web applications, and web services • Experience creating and reviewing technical designs for large and complex features • Experience conducting code reviews for performance, standards, and quality • Experience with case management systems, financial management systems, and/or governmental database management systems is highly desirable
