📋 Description

• Support Appeals Specialists in pursuing proper reimbursement on behalf of hospitals • Contact insurance companies for claim and appeal submission status • Move accounts through insurance carriers’ claim processing systems • Check client systems and payer portals for status when feasible • Provide accurate and thorough feedback • Properly notate internal and external systems • Assist with special client projects • Demonstrate integrity and ethics in day-to-day tasks and decision making • Operate effectively within the work environment and work group • Maintain focus on self-development and seek continuous feedback and learning opportunities • Support the Compliance Program by adhering to relevant policies and procedures

🎯 Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required • Bachelor's degree preferred • Strong healthcare industry knowledge • Ability to troubleshoot and remedy claim submission errors • Demonstrated attention to detail • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Team-Oriented and Flexible • Creative Problem-solving skills • 1-3 insurance follow-up experience preferred • Previous work from home experience preferred • Must adhere to HIPAA, GLBA, FCRA, and other applicable laws and policies • Must complete required compliance training and follow confidentiality obligations • US remote-based colleagues are not permitted to work from a location outside of the United States without prior, written approval
