📋 Description

• Utilize Company automated maintenance and procurement systems (Scoptima/Etendo) for ordering, receiving, and shipping material • Use vendor internet interfaces to track incoming shipments • Analyze Purchase Requisitions for authorization, specifications, shipping, and delivery requirements • Resolve customer issues and understand underlying needs • Issue Requests for Quotation • Award and administer Purchase Orders in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulations and contract requirements • Track commercial purchase status and respond to information requests • Follow up with vendors on Purchase Orders and overdue deliveries • Determine fair and reasonable prices and perform cost analysis • Source improved or less costly materials • Communicate with customers and meet required material lead times • Document purchases according to contractor and Government requirements • Maintain Purchase Order files, records, and related administrative documentation

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree and 2-4 years of experience; education may be used in lieu of experience; experience may be used in lieu of education • Knowledge of supply chain and purchasing experience • Experience procuring, sourcing, and negotiating parts and/or supplies • Experience using automated purchasing and maintenance management systems • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills • Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently and prioritize daily assignments • Preferred: Federal procurement experience and knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and compliance • Preferred: Knowledge of local and beyond supply sources • Preferred: Experience using NSN-NOW and understanding technical requirements for military-grade parts • Preferred: Ability to review paperwork for completeness, appropriateness, and conformity to policies and procedures • Preferred: Ability to work in a team-based environment • Preferred: Strong problem-solving skills and ability to proactively assist customers • Preferred: Ability to work under deadlines and manage multiple priorities • Preferred: Skill in comparing data from varied sources, verifying accuracy, identifying discrepancies, and making corrections
