📋 Description

• Provide regulatory oversight by reviewing state insurance requirements • Draft, review and revise policy forms • Partner with cross‑functional stakeholders • Manage the filing to support timely product approvals • Serve as a primary point of contact with State Insurance Departments • Ensure regulatory decisions, approvals, and exemptions are well documented • Maintain governance over filing documentation, approvals, and regulatory records • Ensure Assurant products and filings are aligned with applicable regulatory frameworks • Provide direction and oversight for the preparation and submission of state compliance filings • Evaluate filing obligations and determine when exemptions apply • Support corporate governance activities • Contribute to regulatory risk mitigation efforts • Ensure state‑driven deadlines and regulatory commitments are met • Oversee preparation and submission of filings through SERFF • Coordinate filing fee payments and required certifications • Facilitate timely communication of regulatory approvals and requirements

🎯 Requirements

• Associates degree • 2 years’ experience in the Property and Casualty insurance industry • Paralegal or Insurance designation a plus • Strong written, drafting and editing, and grammatical skills • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite • Ability to work with ambiguity and frequently changing priorities • Time management skills • Strong data entry skills • Knowledge of insurance terminology and the ability to research industry regulation • Knowledge of SERFF and/or experience in submitting State filings • Ability to balance compliance with Business and Company strategies and directives
