📋 Description

• Manage financial records and ensure regulatory compliance for medical groups, hospitals, or health plans • Prepare monthly journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and financial statements following U.S. GAAP and statutory guidelines • Assist with regulatory reports required by health plans and agencies such as the Department of Managed Health Care • Lead month-end close processes • Perform variance and flux analyses and resolve discrepancies • Coordinate internal and external financial audits and compile necessary schedules

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance • 3 to 5+ years of progressive accounting experience • Experience ideally within a healthcare, managed care, or multi-entity environment • Must be able to work Hawaii Hours (HST) • Knowledge of U.S. GAAP and statutory guidelines • Ability to prepare journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and financial statements • Ability to assist with regulatory reports required by health plans and agencies such as the Department of Managed Health Care • Ability to lead month-end close processes, perform variance and flux analyses, and resolve discrepancies • Ability to coordinate internal and external financial audits and compile necessary schedules • Occasional trips to Hawaii may be necessary
