📋 Description

• Assist with grading and course management for Universal Learner Courses (ULC) • Support faculty with learner assessment in online courses • Provide substantive feedback and grade learner assignments and in-class activities in a timely manner • Monitor and grade assignments • Help learners navigate challenges within the Universal Learner Course • Address learner challenges through course Discussion boards • Monitor and engage in discussion activities • Host live learner sessions when assigned by faculty • Participate in initial training and calibration sessions • Perform other tasks assigned by the Learning Enterprise team

🎯 Requirements

• Associate's degree and one (1) year of experience appropriate to the area of assignment/field; or equivalent combination of experience and/or training • Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship • Must complete mandatory fingerprinting • Significant understanding of relevant course concepts • Strong written and verbal skills • Ability to grade in one or more listed humanities areas • Ability to provide substantive feedback and grade assignments in a timely manner • Ability to work proactively with limited oversight • Ability to excel in changing or challenging circumstances • Content knowledge and/or coursework in a related field • Must have completed ENG 101, ENG 102, ENG 105, or equivalent • Experience with Canvas or a comparable Learning Management System is desired • Prior teaching, tutoring, or student-success experience is desired or preferred • Commitment to supporting students and advancing education equity • Must be based in Arizona; special permissions are required for out-of-state employment and may not be granted
