📋 Description
• Responsible for the development, implementation, and coordination of the speech-language therapy program. • Participate in Individual Education Plan (IEP) conferences and meetings. • Conduct assessments and analyze results to determine strengths and concerns. • Develop treatment plans in conjunction with instructional staff. • Ensure evaluations and intervention plans are aligned with guidelines. • Assist teachers in observing and referring suspected speech and language delays. • Provide support services to parents/guardians as needed. • Improve systems and procedures and ensure compliance with all tasks.
🎯 Requirements
• Master’s Degree in Speech Pathology or Communications Disorders from an accredited college or university. • Valid Certificate from American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) of Clinical Competence. • Valid ADE Speech Language Pathologist Certification. • Valid Arizona DPS-Issued IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card. • Spanish bilingual abilities, highly preferred but not required. • Any equivalent combination of experience, training and/or education from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities may be considered.
