📋 Description

• Manage accounts receivable accounts by tracking payments, accurately applying payments, and following up on overdue balances • Contact patients and insurers, resolve billing discrepancies, and arrange payment plans • Post patient and insurance payments and reconcile accounts accurately • Review aging reports, prioritize aged accounts, escalate trends, and generate performance reports • Partner with clients, billing teams, and payers to resolve discrepancies and clear claims • Work approximately 50 accounts per day • Follow up on unpaid and denied claims • Send appeals • Identify trends proactively to improve outcomes • Work with teams to optimize revenue cycles and support the financial health of ambulatory surgery centers

🎯 Requirements

• High school diploma or GED • 2+ years of experience in revenue cycle functions in a healthcare, medical, or ambulatory surgery center environment • Familiarity with patient accounting software, including Advantx, HST, Vision, or SIS Complete • Strong negotiation and communication skills • Ability to manage multiple accounts and meet daily metrics • Knowledge of payer contracts, EOBs, and HIPAA compliance • Comfort working in payer portals such as Availity or Waystar • Distraction-free workspace • Reliable internet connection • Direct phone line • Ability to work standard hours from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. CST
