📋 Description

• Conduct comprehensive forensic investigations of structural damage, defects, failures, moisture intrusion, source evaluations, premises liability claims, and roofs • Perform site inspections and gather relevant data • Apply engineering principles and practices to analyze and assess structural issues • Prepare clear and concise technical reports with findings and conclusions • Provide expert testimony in legal proceedings when required • Stay current with structural engineering industry trends, codes, and standards • Perform other duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering • Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) • Forensic engineering experience is preferred • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently and meet deadlines • Experience with expert testimony in legal proceedings is a plus • U.S. Person status required due to ITAR export controls: U.S. citizen or national, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee in the United States • Comfortable supporting cases in the Richmond, VA surrounding area • Willingness to travel up to 25%
