📋 Description

• Provide innovative leadership for the Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) program • Develop and implement strategic plans for the program • Represent the program in the department, college, and university • Develop community partnerships, clinical affiliate relationships, and interdisciplinary initiatives • Advance teaching, service, and scholarship • Supervise BSN program faculty and staff • Maintain and enhance existing programs; recommend new program tracks or options • Develop and manage annual program budgets • Ensure continuous programmatic compliance with CCNE standards and State Board of Nursing regulations • Support student recruitment, enrollment, and retention efforts • Monitor NCLEX-RN outcome metrics and document educational outcomes • Assign faculty to teach courses • Supervise and mentor full-time, adjunct, and clinical coordination faculty • Monitor and report accreditation, regulatory, and institutional compliance • Support institutional accreditation efforts • Maintain current knowledge of nursing education, healthcare, and accreditation/licensure standards • Assist with strategic planning, program growth, clinical pathway expansion, and operational efficiencies • Make recommendations based on healthcare data, industry insight, and workforce trends • Assess nursing courses, review clinical sites, and analyze faculty/student evaluations • Track, evaluate, and report retention, graduation, and first-time NCLEX-RN pass-rate metrics • Mentor nursing students and program faculty • Teach courses and engage in community and professional service and scholarship • Monitor program budgets and clinical resources • Interview, determine instructional scope, and recommend hiring adjunct faculty and clinical instructors • Serve on or chair hiring committees as directed • Establish and cultivate relationships with healthcare clinical partners, preceptor networks, and community health agencies

🎯 Requirements

• Earned Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) from an accredited institution required • Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license • Must hold or be eligible to obtain RN licensure in state jurisdictions as required for program oversight • Minimum of 3–5 years of progressive academic leadership experience in higher education nursing programs • Demonstrated expertise in nursing accreditation processes, specifically with the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE) and State boards of nursing • Proven track record in curriculum design, online/hybrid learning modalities, instructional quality, and NCLEX-RN outcome monitoring • Experience managing program budgets, supervising remote faculty, building clinical affiliate networks, and fostering student success • Doctorate in Nursing (DNP, PhD, or EdD in Nursing/Higher Education) strongly preferred
