📋 Description

• Interview clients, analyze medical records, and draft persuasive memos arguing why the SSA should consider them disabled • Work with clients’ local representatives to track down missing paperwork at SSA • Build client relationships and keep caseloads moving • Collaborate with attorneys on case strategy • Identify inefficient workflows, scope improvements, obtain team buy-in, and execute improvements • Help Marketing source clients suitable for testimonials • User test new tools for Product

🎯 Requirements

• Experience in a professional role that required a substantial amount of client-facing work (like a case manager) or lawyer-facing work (like a paralegal) • Resourceful team-player ready to dive into a scrappy startup environment, learn quickly, and get hands dirty • Comfortable in interpersonal conversations; empathetic and kind with people in crisis, and thoughtful and organized when interacting with attorneys • Demonstrated commitment to doing good and helping people • Professional experience helping others apply for government benefits (bonus / nice-to-have) • Experience at a startup or other fast-paced, agile environment (bonus / nice-to-have) • Must currently reside in the United States
