📋 Description

• Serve as the senior property finance leader during task force assignments • Establish immediate priorities and maintain continuity across accounting and finance functions • Lead month-end and year-end close processes • Ensure timely, accurate financial statements and complete, well-supported balance-sheet reconciliations • Review balance-sheet accounts and resolve aging or unsupported items • Oversee general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, income audit, payroll coordination, purchasing, cash management, credit, and banking controls • Evaluate control environments and accounting processes and implement sustainable improvements • Prepare and review budgets, forecasts, cash-flow projections, variance analyses, and other financial reporting • Partner with General Managers, Executive Committees, department leaders, and corporate Finance to analyze performance and improve profitability • Support owner reporting, audits, tax and licensing requirements, capital planning, and other property or corporate requests • Build repeatable processes and documentation to improve accuracy, reduce risk, and strengthen accountability • Lead, coach, and develop property Finance team members • Support onboarding and transition to permanent Finance leadership • Support portfolio balance-sheet reviews, reconciliations, cash-flow reviews, pre-opening budgets, process-improvement initiatives, and Finance Operations projects between assignments

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or a related discipline, or equivalent relevant experience • Five or more years of progressive hotel or hospitality finance and accounting experience, including leadership responsibility • Strong command of accounting fundamentals, USALI 12th Edition, financial reporting, month-end close, balance-sheet reconciliations, budgeting, forecasting, cash management, and internal controls • Prior experience as a Director of Finance, Assistant Director of Finance, Controller, or comparable senior hotel finance leader is strongly preferred • Ability to assess unfamiliar operations quickly, establish priorities, solve problems, and deliver accurate work in fast-moving environments • Experience leading and developing property Finance teams and partnering with General Managers, department leaders, owners, auditors, and corporate stakeholders • Working knowledge of hotel financial and operational systems, including general-ledger, reporting, property-management, point-of-sale, purchasing, payroll, and accounts-payable platforms • Strong process orientation, analytical judgment, attention to detail, and written and verbal communication skills • Ability to work independently from a productive home-office environment and travel regularly, including extended on-property assignments, as business needs require • Luxury, lifestyle, resort, multi-property, opening, transition, conversion, or task force experience is preferred • CPA, CMA, CHAE, or another relevant professional certification is preferred
