📋 Description

• Transform source data into a usable format for monthly billing, revenue recognition, and forecasting • Align Employee Benefits/Partner business forecast enrollment numbers with source customer enrollment counts and Revenue Accounting actual enrollment counts for GAAP purposes • Own the billing engine’s ongoing health through regular QA of Python/SQL logic, discrepancy monitoring, and production troubleshooting • Debug and fix billing engine code to resolve issues with minimal disruption to partner invoicing and downstream revenue reporting • Design and implement invoicing logic and billing flows for evolving contract structures, new partner types, and business requirements • Assist with ad hoc projects and system integrations as a subject matter expert for the Partner Revenue Operations team • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders on the revenue process for Aura’s expanding partner channel • Ensure accurate partner billing, analytics, and reporting

🎯 Requirements

• 2–3 years of progressive experience in data analytics • Proficiency in SQL and Python; ability to query and manipulate large datasets efficiently • Experience with Databricks • Experience building data logic/pipelines • Ability to translate business/contract requirements into technical logic • Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, advanced formulas, and data analysis • Strong analytical thinking • Solid financial background, including knowledge of financial statements, basic accounting principles, and tax implications • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills • BA/BS in Analytics, Data Science, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, or a similar field of study • Experience with billing processes and system integrations/implementations • Understanding of revenue recognition, invoicing, and reconciliation • Familiarity with Zuora, NetSuite, Salesforce, Avalara, or a similar sales tax engine • Understanding of subscription and usage-based billing and financial systems
