• Manage the patient insurance authorization process for services requested by the clinical care team. • Initiate communication with patients' insurance carriers to obtain required pre-certifications and authorizations. • Proactively work with insurance carriers to ensure all required documentation is received in a timely manner. • Communicate changes in insurance reimbursement practices and authorization requirements to the clinical team. • Ensure all authorization submissions are complete and accurate. • Maintain ongoing communication with treating clinicians throughout the authorization process and provide timely status updates. • Educate patients regarding their insurance coverage and available payment options. • Notify location leadership of issues that may result in lapses in authorization or interruptions in patient care. • Support multiple Florida locations while maintaining exceptional customer service and meeting established turnaround times.
• High school diploma or equivalent. • Minimum of 2 years of related experience. • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. • Ability to work Eastern Time business hours while supporting the Florida market. • Bilingual (Spanish) preferred.
