📋 Description

• Facilitate virtual cardiac rehabilitation nutrition education classes for enrolled patients • Deliver structured education on macronutrients, heart-healthy diet, the role of nutrition in cardiac recovery, and cooking demonstrations • Engage patients in interactive discussions and encourage participation • Adapt teaching approaches to different learning styles and patient needs • Incorporate light guided stretches or simple exercises when appropriate • Lead weekly live cooking demonstrations for ICR patients • Create a supportive and inclusive learning environment • Monitor class participation and patient engagement • Communicate patient concerns or questions to the care team as needed • Maintain professionalism and follow virtual class facilitation guidelines

🎯 Requirements

• Experience teaching, facilitating, or presenting nutrition educational content to groups • Strong communication and presentation skills • Comfortable speaking to and engaging groups in a virtual environment • Ability to explain health concepts in clear, patient-friendly language • Comfortable leading light stretches or basic exercises during education sessions • Ability to engage patients with different learning styles • Excellent public speaking and teaching ability • Strong patient engagement skills • Ability to simplify complex medical concepts • Comfort leading interactive group discussions • Ability to guide simple stretches or exercises safely • Strong virtual communication skills
