📋 Description
• Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating loan documentation, credit agreements, security documents, and intercreditor agreements related to syndicated loans and secured lending arrangements. • Providing legal guidance on Basel III capital management requirements, AML/KYC compliance obligations, and OCC regulatory matters. • Collaborating with internal stakeholders, compliance teams, risk management, and external counsel on lending transactions, regulatory initiatives, and interbank transactions. • Managing regulatory, transactional, and compliance-related legal issues for clients within the banking and financial services sector. • Staying ahead of evolving banking regulations, capital adequacy standards, and financial crime compliance requirements to provide proactive, strategic legal counsel.
🎯 Requirements
• 5+ years of experience in commercial banking, financial regulation, or lending transactions • Strong knowledge of Basel III requirements, AML/KYC frameworks, OCC regulations, and interbank transaction structures • Proven track record of advising clients on syndicated loans, secured lending arrangements, and regulatory compliance initiatives • Excellent communication, negotiation, technology, and problem-solving skills. • Juris Doctor (JD) degree and licensed to practice law in an applicable jurisdiction.
