📋 Description

• Support attorneys and compliance professionals with trade compliance matters • Assist with researching and tracking applicable import, export, and sanctions requirements • Organize and maintain trade compliance records, procedures, and supporting documentation • Help review transactions, business activities, and documentation for potential compliance issues • Coordinate with legal, compliance, and business teams to gather information and support internal reviews • Assist with preparing compliance materials, reports, and internal guidance • Support an established legal or compliance team under the direction of an attorney or senior compliance professional

🎯 Requirements

• Paralegal experience supporting a legal or compliance team • Familiarity with trade compliance, import/export controls, customs, or sanctions matters • Strong research, organization, writing, and communication skills • Ability to manage documentation carefully and work effectively under attorney or senior compliance direction • Exposure to U.S. export controls, including the EAR or ITAR • Familiarity with OFAC sanctions or customs requirements • Experience supporting trade compliance processes within an established legal or compliance structure • Employment may be contingent upon successful completion of a background check • Proof of identity and necessary legal authorization to work • Paralegal certificate or equivalent experience preferred
