📋 Description

• Assisting with the preparation, review, and maintenance of trade compliance documentation, policies, and procedures. • Coordinating export-related activities, including documentation, recordkeeping, and internal tracking. • Supporting classification efforts, due diligence reviews, and compliance-related research. • Monitoring and tracking regulatory requirements and assisting with updates to internal processes. • Collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders, including legal, compliance, and business teams, to support ongoing compliance initiatives. • Assisting with audits, risk assessments, and remediation efforts to address compliance gaps. • Supporting training initiatives and maintaining compliance records and reporting tools.

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a paralegal or in a compliance-related role, with exposure to trade compliance or export controls. • Working knowledge of U.S. export controls, sanctions, or international trade regulations (e.g., EAR, OFAC) preferred. • Experience supporting legal or compliance teams within an established framework. • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines. • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
