📋 Description

• Point Cloud Registration & Processing (primary focus) • Import, register, and QC scan projects in Leica Register360 and Cyclone. • Support point cloud registration and processing using NavVis Ivion. • Shadow and progressively take ownership of related data processing tasks in a variety of software platforms. • Assist in review of OPUS reports and control point observations. • Support review of aerial photogrammetry and drone-captured imagery outputs. • Identify and implement opportunities to automate file handling. • Identify opportunities to reduce manual processing time in point cloud registration. • Strengthen documentation practices so that processing decisions and QC checks are traceable. • Assist with terrestrial 3D laser scanning. • Help coordinate field activities with internal teams and project stakeholders.

🎯 Requirements

• B.S. in engineering, geomatics, or a related technical field (or equivalent experience). • 2+ years of experience in a technical, data-intensive, or built-environment-adjacent role (project controls, field surveying, or similar all qualify). • Demonstrated proficiency in data workflow tools appropriate to the role (e.g., scripting, database, or automation platforms). • Strong documentation habits and QA/QC discipline; ability to learn new specialized software quickly. • Valid driver's license. • Comfortable with occasional fieldwork and travel (up to 50%). • Prior hands-on land surveying or site engineering experience (preferred). • EIT certification or equivalent technical credential (preferred). • Exposure to LiDAR, photogrammetry, or point cloud concepts (preferred).
