📋 Description

• Facilitate group therapy sessions within an Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP), managing a caseload across multiple weekly groups • Provide individual therapy supporting each patient's treatment progress • Lead family engagement sessions • Complete biopsychosocial assessments, ASAM forms, and applicable evaluations • Develop and update individualized master treatment plans with measurable goals • Apply clinical judgment in crises, including risk assessment, de-escalation, and suicide risk evaluation • Communicate with referral sources and families regarding progress and continuity of care • Coordinate step-down and discharge planning and connect patients with legal, financial, and vocational resources • Provide clinical care from intake through discharge • Maintain thorough and timely clinical documentation • Adapt therapeutic approaches to diverse patient needs • Report to the Telehealth Clinical Director, with support from the Head of Telehealth

🎯 Requirements

• Active, unrestricted LMFT, LCSW, or LPC license in California; associate/intern-level pre-licensed credentials accepted for relevant professional tracks • Master's degree or higher in social work, psychology, mental health counseling, or a related human services field • Strongly preferred: 2+ years of clinical experience serving substance use disorder and/or mental health populations • Strongly preferred: active clinical licensure in 3 or more states • Willingness to obtain licensure in additional states as business needs arise • Preferred: direct experience at an IOP level of care • Preferred: experience with Kipu EMR systems • Preferred: experience carrying a full caseload virtually • Working knowledge of clinical standards of care for substance use and co-occurring mental health disorders • Clinical judgment and crisis intervention skills, including risk assessment and de-escalation • Strong documentation and communication skills with attention to regulatory and confidentiality standards • Ability to work independently in a remote setting while staying connected to a collaborative care team
