📋 Description

• Complete varied duties supporting the revenue cycle, compliance, and patient experience • Accurately and efficiently perform registration, financial screening, verification, and patient throughput tasks • Meet individual collection goals • Maintain a close working relationship with clinical team members to ensure a seamless and positive patient and caregiver experience • Deploy legal, ethical, and compliance-related documents and thoroughly explain them to patients at registration • Provide professional, compassionate, and friendly service to patients, families, employees, physicians, and community members • Work as needed during weekends, holidays, and disastrous events as essential staff

🎯 Requirements

• High School, Cert, GED, Trn, or Exper. • Complete and pass the Patient Access training course • Ability to work in a fast-paced public health setting or Revenue Cycle setting with demonstrated experience in payment collection, such as billing, sales, and collection/Customer Service • In lieu of degree and/or experience, ability to satisfactorily demonstrate and/or role play required skills in a professional manner with a clear and convincing ability to excel in the role • Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations • Detail oriented, organized, team player, compassionate, excellent customer service and interpersonal communication skills • Ability to multitask and have an agile mindset • Understanding of insurance contracts, collections, authorizations and pre-certifications, Microsoft Office products, and EMR applications • Knowledge of medical terminology • Essential staff availability to work weekends, holidays, and during disastrous events • Associates Degree preferred • Knowledge of healthcare regulatory guidelines including HIPAA, AHCA, and EMTALA desired • Bilingual English, Spanish/Creole preferred
