📋 Description

• Provide guidance and support in coordinating complex cases • Ensure effective communication among professional clients • Review and analyze laboratory reports for accuracy and adherence to quality standards • Advise professional clients on testing strategies and recommendations based on genetic findings • Mentor and support junior genetic counselors and trainees • Contribute to developing testing protocols, policies, and procedures • Collaborate with the Clinical Support team on manuscript development and presentations focused on genetic counseling

🎯 Requirements

• Master of Science or Master of Arts in Genetic Counseling from an ABGC-accredited program or equivalent • Significant experience (X+ years) demonstrating expertise in clinical and laboratory genetics • Board-certified Genetic Counselor • Ability to coordinate complex cases and communicate effectively with professional clients • Ability to review and analyze laboratory reports accurately and according to quality standards • Expertise in clinical and laboratory genetics • Skills in mentoring and supporting junior genetic counselors and trainees • Ability to contribute to testing protocols, policies, and procedures • Professional communication, problem-solving, clinical judgment, adaptability, quality and compliance mindset, and cross-functional collaboration skills
