📋 Description

• lead our tax function while serving as a trusted advisor to our clients • mentor our team • review and oversee the preparation of business and individual tax returns • develop proactive tax strategies for clients across a range of industries • partner with clients to identify planning opportunities and optimize outcomes • serve as the firm’s go-to resource for all tax-related matters • support and review work performed by managers and team members • establish best practices, processes, and standards for tax work • train and mentor staff on tax concepts, strategy, and execution • provide ongoing feedback to improve quality and consistency • contribute to hiring, structure, and long-term tax function growth

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required in accounting • CPA • 5+ years of experience in public accounting • Strong experience with both business and individual tax • Prior experience reviewing returns and managing work quality • Experience in mentoring and managing team members • Desire to take ownership and grow a function
