📋 Description

• Oversee Group Rating Analysts, including quality control, workflow management, hiring, training, and performance management • Oversee daily group rating activities and review and approve special rating situations • Liaise with Sales, Actuarial, Underwriting, and other internal stakeholders • Support automation and streamlining of rating processes with the Quality & Systems team • Develop and maintain training materials and procedural documentation for rating methodologies • Conduct training sessions for Sales, Underwriting, and other departments • Assist with concession analysis and reporting on rating impacts and pricing trends • Support preparation and review of rate exhibits • Monitor market trends and recommend process improvements in rating methodologies • Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations, including ERISA and ACA

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Actuarial Science, Business, or a related field • Minimum of four years of experience in group rating, underwriting, actuarial work, or health product sales within the health insurance industry • Experience with health insurance contracts, rating systems, and alternative funding arrangements • Prior leadership or supervisory experience preferred • Strong interpersonal and communication skills • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities • Knowledge of health insurance rating techniques, underwriting principles, and actuarial methodologies • Familiarity with ERISA and ACA regulatory compliance requirements • Ability to manage multiple priorities, track deadlines, and ensure workflow efficiency • Strong leadership skills to guide, train, and develop employees • Proficiency in reviewing, interpreting, and applying rating policies and procedures • Applicants must reside in Kansas or Missouri or be willing to relocate • Successful completion of pre-employment drug screening, criminal conviction check, employment verifications, and education verification as part of a conditional offer
