📋 Description

• Own full-cycle U.S. and international payroll processing across multiple clients • Serve as the internal payroll subject matter expert, partnering closely with HR and Accounting/Finance client leads • Manage payroll platforms including Gusto, Justworks, Rippling, ADP, TriNet, Deel, or similar systems • Ensure accurate processing of wages, bonuses, commissions, and deductions • Manage multi-state payroll compliance, tax filings, and year-end reporting • Reconcile payroll reports, benefit invoices, and payroll-related GL accounts • Partner with accounting teams to support month-end close activities • Support payroll-related equity compensation processing • Maintain payroll procedures, internal controls, and process improvements

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of U.S. payroll experience, including multi-state payroll • Strong knowledge of payroll taxes, wage laws, and compliance requirements • Experience with payroll systems (Gusto, Justworks, Rippling, Deel, Sequoia One or similar) • Advanced Excel skills (lookups, pivots, data validation, reconciliation workflows) • Proven experience with payroll reconciliations and audit support • Excellent organizational and client communication skills • Experience managing international payrolls through EOR platforms • CPP certification is a plus
