📋 Description

• Guide medication management system upgrade processes through clinical and technical expertise • Interact extensively with customers and develop relationships at Director/key stakeholder level • Gather customer requirements and define best practices, design decisions, policies and procedures • Perform tasks required for timely upgrade go-lives and customer satisfaction • Demonstrate knowledge of pharmacy/clinical workflows, hospital and pharmacy system integration, clinical device settings, interface validation, user account role design and Active Directory • Identify risks, issues and opportunities for proactive improvement as a customer advocate • Troubleshoot and consult on pharmacy workflows, best practices and health system standardization • Improve customer upgrade experiences, efficiency and consistency • Share lessons learned and field feedback for continuous improvement • Support knowledge transfer and onboarding activities • Promote standardized delivery methodologies and operational consistency across upgrade engagements • Mentor consultants and contribute to team capability and organizational knowledge development • Maintain accurate and up-to-date project records • Foster relationships with sales and service teams during pre-sale and post-upgrade transitions • Establish collaborative working relationships with cross-functional project teams and customer teams

🎯 Requirements

• Associate degree preferred or equivalent education and work experience • Expertise in HIS/PIS systems and pharmacy and nursing workflow • Three or more years in a healthcare environment with technical (systems) involvement and computerized system applications • Experience with integrated delivery networks/large health systems required • Preferred certifications: RPh, Pharmacy Technician • Must be able to lift a minimum of 40 lbs • Must be able to push, pull, stoop, bend and lift • Valid driver license required and must be maintained • Must be at least 21 years old • Must meet BD’s auto safety standards • Upon hire, must provide proof of and maintain current immunizations and obtain additional facility-required immunizations • Required immunization proof includes Hepatitis B, current-year Influenza, MMR, Varicella, annual TB/PPD, and Tetanus/Diphtheria/Pertussis • Ability to work independently from home office • Willingness to travel 25–75%, including overnight travel • Ability to work flexible hours, including some nights and weekends • Effective verbal and written communication skills • Must comply with relevant BD policies, procedures, administrative tasks and applicable regulatory requirements
