📋 Description

• Provide on-site technical support for BD Pyxis automated dispensing systems at hospitals and healthcare facilities within the territory • Respond to, evaluate, and prioritize work orders • Diagnose, service, and resolve proprietary hardware and software issues • Retain ownership of work orders and escalate issues to the team lead and manager • Log, track, and detail all work order activity • Fully support all products within the region • Implement a preventive maintenance program • Provide limited cross-functional support for Sales and Implementation teams • Perform installations, in-servicing, repair, preventive maintenance, calibration, and sales support • Maintain accurate small-parts inventory and follow inventory-control policies • Continue product and application training and attend approved seminars and training sessions • Maintain understanding of corporate and service-department procedures, customer complaint handling, and Medical Device Reporting • Travel daily to customer sites throughout the Maine region

🎯 Requirements

• High School Diploma • 3 years of related combination Hardware/Software/IT experience supporting both proprietary and standard applications • 24x7 on-call experience in a customer-facing/field service environment • Computer electronics, Windows OS, and network experience • Ability to work within defined processes and methodologies with minimal supervision • Valid driver's license and compliance with BD's auto safety standards • Upon hire, proof of and maintenance of current immunizations and additional facility-appropriate immunizations: Hepatitis B, Influenza, MMR, Varicella, annual TB/PPD, Tetanus/Diphtheria/Pertussis, and COVID-19 • Minimum weightlifting capacity of 70 pounds • Ideal candidates reside within a 30-mile radius of the position's base • Preferred: prior hospital pharmacy technician or hospital Bio-Med experience • Preferred: Associate's degree • Preferred: prior military Bio-Med experience • Preferred: prior Automated Teller Machine (ATM) experience
