📋 Description

• Provide efficient and effective field service support for BD Pyxis dispensing customers within the assigned territory • Troubleshoot, service, repair, calibrate, install, and maintain BD Pyxis automated dispensing systems • Provide remote troubleshooting and on-site technical support at healthcare facilities • Manage work orders from diagnosis through resolution, documentation, and escalation • Execute preventive maintenance programs • Deliver customer training • Maintain inventory of service parts according to company policies • Document service activities, expenses, and time distribution • Secure and maintain company vehicles, tools, inventory, and other assets • Troubleshoot hardware and software issues independently and engage team leadership for advanced problems • Complete ongoing product and application training and attend approved seminars • Maintain knowledge of corporate procedures, customer complaint handling, and Medical Device Reporting requirements

🎯 Requirements

• Associate Degree in Healthcare Technology or related technical field, or 5-7 years of equivalent work experience • Demonstrated hardware/software/IT support experience for proprietary and standard applications • CompTIA A+ Certification required • Customer Support Certification required • Proven experience in computer electronics, Windows OS, networking, and medical/electromechanical device service and repair • 24x7 on-call availability in a customer-facing environment • Ability to work with minimal supervision • Ability to lift a minimum of 70 pounds • Strong mechanical aptitude • Computer proficiency • Excellent verbal/written communication skills • Effective time management • Valid driver's license meeting BD's auto safety standards • Proof of comprehensive immunizations including Hepatitis B, Influenza, MMR, Varicella, annual TB/PPD testing, Tetanus/Diphtheria/Pertussis, and COVID-19 • Prior Automated Teller Machine (ATM) experience preferred • Prior military Bio-Med experience preferred • Prior customer support center experience/training preferred • Prior hospital pharmacy technician or hospital Bio-Med experience preferred
