📋 Description

• Manage claims creation and billing • Prepare and submit claims for medical services to insurance companies • Optimize billing and ensure all charge opportunities are captured • Enter patient demographics, procedures, diagnoses, charges, payments, and balances using medical billing software • Maintain patient billing records • Perform other claims- and billing-related administrative tasks as needed

🎯 Requirements

• Associates Degree Preferred • 5+ years experience in medical billing in the inpatient setting • Background in the inpatient setting with critical care billing knowledge • Experience with critical care billing codes and telemedicine • Proficiency with medical billing software; prior use of Athelas Insights preferred • Strong attention to detail and data entry skills
