📋 Description

• This position is responsible for submitting claims to third-party payers for hospital, hospital-based providers, and physician clinic providers. • The role includes pursuing collection of claims until payment is received from insurance companies performing the necessary steps complete the billing process.

🎯 Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required • healthcare experience preferred • Post-secondary education may substitute for years of experience • Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience preferred • Ideal candidates will have experience with billing in a Critical Access Hospital; • or professional billing experience, • initiative to learn hospital billing and expand medical billing knowledge and skills
