• Provide overall leadership, strategy, and performance management for the healthcare business unit • Develop and execute the business unit strategic plan aligned with company objectives • Identify and capitalize on growth opportunities, market trends, and competitive insights • Collaborate with senior leadership to define and track KPIs • Oversee and optimize business-unit sub-functions • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve productivity, quality, and cost-effectiveness • Partner with the VP of Sales on strategic initiatives driving revenue and market expansion • Oversee business-unit P&L and ensure financial targets are met or exceeded • Develop and manage annual budgets and forecasts • Implement cost controls and operational improvements • Conduct competitive analysis of company and competitor product offerings • Drive revenue growth through new business opportunities • Develop and lead sales and marketing strategies • Work with the sales team on product sales strategies • Mentor and develop talent and support succession planning • Establish goals, performance metrics, and accountability standards • Promote cross-departmental collaboration and innovation • Provide strategic guidance to subordinates • Ensure exceptional customer satisfaction and proactive customer engagement • Build relationships with key customers, partners, and stakeholders • Serve as liaison between internal teams and external partners • Address client concerns and ensure timely issue resolution • Identify operational-efficiency opportunities and implement best practices • Support digital transformation and data-driven decision-making • Foster continuous improvement and innovation • Prepare reports and performance metrics for senior leadership • Develop and maintain processes, procedures, and supporting documentation • Stay current with industry trends and best practices • Serve as backup for creating and maintaining project quotations • Provide expert-level technical, application, and installation support for products
• 4-year engineering degree from accredited university (BSEE preferred) • 10+ years’ experience in progressive leadership, sales, product management, or business development providing Engineered to Order technical equipment and/or services (non-commodity) into critical infrastructure segments • Preferred healthcare segment experience, including hospitals and ambulatory surgery centers • Experience selling/providing product to the USA, Latin America, and Canada • Familiarity with functional application of low voltage electrical distribution equipment according to country requirements • Ability to read and understand electrical schematic drawings, panel schedules, and specifications • Deep knowledge of application and product regulatory requirements, including NEC, NFPA 99, UL, and CSA • 5+ years’ knowledge and experience with ERP system Sales and Material Management modules; SAP preferred • 5+ years’ knowledge and experience with CRM; Salesforce preferred • Familiarity with electrical safety equipment for personnel protection preferred • Strong business acumen, strategic thinking, and leadership capabilities • Track record of achieving financial and operational targets • Familiarity with digitalization, automation, and data analytics • In-depth understanding of regulatory and compliance requirements within the industry • Detail-oriented, able to multitask and meet deadlines • Proficiency in concepts, practices, and procedures across multiple disciplines • Excellent communication, influencing, negotiation, and stakeholder management abilities • High integrity, confidentiality, and professionalism • Self-motivated, high-energy, results-driven approach • Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively • Eagerness to learn and adapt to new challenges and opportunities • Ability to work independently and with a team • Ability to travel up to 30–40% as required • Ability to perform the stated physical and cognitive demands • Ability to perform essential job functions with or without accommodation • Must adhere to Bender Inc.
