📋 Description

• Support Berklee Online, the provider of online music education • Serve as a primary remote point of contact for financial inquiries • Provide support regarding tuition, payment plans, billing statements, and student accounts • Manage inbound and outbound calls and emails during heavy enrollment windows • Guide students, families, and alumni through tuition statements, payment options, balances, financial holds, refunds, and educational tax forms • Answer inquiries about registration, add/drop procedures, refund policies, and financial aid options • Liaise with Military Affairs or Financial Analytics as needed • Manage tuition payment plans and update CRM configurations • Adjust payment-plan budgets throughout the enrollment cycle and follow up on returned payments • Process credit cards, checks, and wire transfers into accounting systems • Audit past-due accounts, conduct collections outreach, and support state escheatment procedures • Track recurring student questions to optimize business processes • Help onboard, train, and monitor student work-study employees

🎯 Requirements

• College degree required • Minimum of 2 years of successful customer service experience in higher education, banking, sales support, or a student accounts/financial aid environment • Strong proficiency in Excel and Google Sheets • Familiarity with higher education software and CRMs such as Workday Student, Salesforce, and Colleague is a strong plus • Exceptional written and verbal communication • Sharp attention to detail • Solution-oriented mindset that thrives under deadline pressure • Cover letter strictly required for consideration • Currently enrolled Berklee students are not permitted to apply for staff or faculty positions
