📋 Description

• Serve as a human services programs subject matter expert on BerryDunn projects for state HHS agency clients • Lead the human services business operations team assigned to the Guam Department of Health and Human Services engagement • Understand and apply human services and public health federal regulations • Lead implementation of new federal regulations and waivers • Lead development of project artifacts • Monitor corrective action plans and continuous quality improvement • Identify needs for staff aids and training • Inform development of business processes and standard operating procedures • Support implementation of new technology • Lead and support delivery of client services on time and within budget • Assign and manage staff and oversee development of deliverables • Report project status, risks, and issues to audiences including client executive leadership • Inspire and motivate project teams and serve as a trusted client advisor • Facilitate client stakeholder meetings and interviews • Maintain service and deliverable quality in accordance with BerryDunn’s Consulting Quality Management Program • Develop staff and participate in or lead training and learning and development activities • Contribute to a positive, fun, and innovative HHS team culture

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a human services, public health, or social services related field, or equivalent work experience • 8+ years of experience working with and/or for state government agencies responsible for human services programs • Knowledge of state government human services programs, services, and policies • Human services program experience • Demonstrated experience leading project teams • Experience in and a desire to coach and mentor junior team members • Effective project management and organizational skills • Excellent written communication skills, including documenting complex issues succinctly and logically • Excellent verbal and presentation skills, including articulating complex issues to varied audiences • Ability to balance multiple assignments and achieve quality results in a timely manner • Ability to create and sustain positive working relationships with staff and diverse constituencies • Ability to work independently and collaboratively • Microsoft Office suite skills, including MS PowerPoint, Project, Visio, and Excel • Ability to work Guam hours from 8 am to 12 pm Tuesday through Friday Chamorro Standard Time (ChST) • Ability to travel up to 50% depending on client and project needs
