📋 Description

• First-line management and supervision of the credentialing associate team • Train credentialing associates on their day-to-day tasks • Research and implement new processes and systems • Document BetterHelp Insurance Credentialing workflows and use the documentation to train the team • Monitor associate team performance with the Credentialing Team Lead • Provide feedback to the team and contracting partner, TekSystems • Answer questions from other BetterHelp teams and internal credentialing team members • Provide day-to-day guidance, training, and support • Identify and solve inefficiencies in credentialing and recredentialing processes • Develop and maintain relationships with other BetterHelp teams • Track application statuses, credentialing deadlines, and recredentialing timelines • Maintain accurate provider information in internal databases and Verifiable • Liaise with CVO to resolve credentialing issues or delays • Provide leadership with regular updates on key metrics and process improvements

🎯 Requirements

• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States • Deep understanding of web development concepts and principles • Examples of full-stack projects or significant product features • At least one major demonstrable project including frontend code, backend code, and a database • Ability to design, develop, and launch a web application or substantial feature from start to finish • Ability to learn quickly, navigate an established codebase, and build new skills independently • Strong sense of ownership and eagerness to build something meaningful • Five or more years of professional web development experience in any stack • Three or more years of experience with SQL, including relational schema design and complex queries • Familiarity with web application, data, and SQL security best practices • Comfort working outside framework abstractions and understanding what is happening behind the scenes • Experience using Git in a collaborative team environment • Sound engineering judgment and thoughtful approach to modern development tools, including AI assistants, with attention to security, privacy, and code quality
