📋 Description

• Provide assessment and treatment for a continuity panel of up to 275 adults with Opioid Use Disorder from initial treatment-start throughout ongoing care • Diagnose Opioid Use Disorder and co-occurring mental health conditions • Safely start treatment with buprenorphine-naloxone and manage early induction and stabilization with close follow-up • Use motivational interviewing and engagement techniques to achieve optimal patient outcomes • Collaborate with the care team to coordinate additional services • Participate in clinical team meetings, practice improvement, and case discussions • Develop understanding of practice policies and procedures and participate in policy feedback and development • Develop understanding of local and regional referral resources and utilize them • Use the web-based EMR platform to manage patient care • Work from anywhere in the applicant's state, subject to regulations • Provide strategic input into company-wide projects and initiatives • Share regional on-call responsibilities, including coverage for a percentage of company-observed holidays • Report to the regional medical director

🎯 Requirements

• Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant qualification • Valid license to practice medicine in the applicant's home state • DEA license in the applicant's home state • Eligible and willing to obtain licenses in multiple states • At least 1 year of buprenorphine prescribing experience in family medicine, internal medicine, addiction medicine, or psychiatric practice • Strong communication skills and ability to build effective provider-patient relationships • Comfort with risk/benefit balancing and problem solving • Ability to share equally in regional on-call needs, including coverage for a percentage of the 8 company-observed holidays • Telehealth experience is a plus • Motivational Interviewing experience preferred • Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
