📋 Description

• Assist in the delivery of high quality, safe clinical care as a member of a clinical team • Enhance patient satisfaction and provider efficiency through a collaborative approach to patient care • Work with Healthcare Providers on their daily needs and schedules • Take patient vital signs • Document medical history in the EMR system • Provide patients and families with medical information • Work within a department open Monday through Saturday, 8am to 8pm

🎯 Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent required • Graduate of an Accredited Medical Assistant program OR obtained a Medical Assistant Certification (AAMA, CCMA, RMA, NCMA) OR minimum of 5 years' experience working as a Medical Assistant • Achieves and maintains Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through American Heart Association within 90 days of hire • Experienced Medical Assistant • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills • Knowledge of medical terminology • Strong problem-solving abilities and analytical skills • Basic computer skills • Critical thinking and good judgement • Good organizational skills and ability to multitask • Ability to work nights and Saturday shifts day/night
