📋 Description

• Execute end-to-end intercompany processes, including billing, journal entries, AR/AP matching, reconciliations, settlement, and balance clearing • Support monthly and quarterly close; investigate out-of-balance items, identify root causes, and coordinate timely resolution • Maintain reconciliations, documentation, and controls with regional Accounting, AP, Order-to-Cash, Tax, and Treasury • Execute cost allocations, intercompany service charges, royalties, and periodic true-ups • Support SAP PaPM processing, validation, reconciliation, and reporting; resolve calculation, posting, and system issues • Manage interim manual workarounds during stabilization and automation improvements • Support centralized operating model and assigned process transitions, including billing, reconciliation, settlement, and operational handoffs • Simplify processes, strengthen controls, reduce recurring manual work, and maintain standard operating procedures • Support workflow testing, issue resolution, operational readiness, and knowledge transfer • Integrate acquired entities into BioMarin intercompany and transfer pricing processes • Test SAP processes and interim solutions and coordinate issue resolution with cross-functional teams • Transition integration activities into stable recurring operations • Support intercompany reconciliations, eliminations, and resolution of consolidation and reporting differences • Deliver timely intercompany and transfer pricing information for global close • Support day-to-day intercompany/transfer pricing operations and broader transformation objectives

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field • CPA preferred but not required • Five to eight years of relevant accounting or finance experience, including intercompany accounting, reconciliations, and month-end close • Transfer pricing accounting and execution experience preferred • SAP S/4HANA experience strongly preferred • SAP PaPM experience preferred but not required • Experience with process improvement, system implementation, or integration projects • Strong Excel, analytical, reconciliation, and problem-solving skills • Ability to execute assigned responsibilities independently with limited training while collaborating across teams • Demonstrated ownership and accountability for operational deliverables • Effective coordination with Accounting, Tax, Treasury, AP, Order-to-Cash, IT, and operational teams • Practical, risk-based judgment balancing controls, efficiency, and business needs • Ability to prioritize material issues, recommend workable solutions, and operate effectively amid evolving processes and temporary manual solutions
