📋 Description

• Travel to new markets or installations • Prepare systems for initial startup • Guide installations through final acceptance testing for customer load connection • Provide technical expertise to customers on fuel cell system maintenance, site maintenance, safety observation, and troubleshooting • Work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment • Manage internal and external communication • Commit to PSV and commissioning activities in the home market as needed • Travel to other markets to support commissioning when the home market does not require support • Support regular Field Service Technician activities in the home market

🎯 Requirements

• Electrical experience required; troubleshooting and repair skills necessary • Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting/repair skills • Understanding of mechanical systems, piping, plumbing, and valve operation preferred • Prior electrician experience with 3-phase systems, UPS systems, maintenance, electrical generation and distribution systems, power electronics, Automatic Transfer Switch Systems, or microprocessor-based control platforms highly beneficial • Experience with test and measurement equipment, electrical codes, and personnel safety products and procedures • Ability to read and interpret electrical single-line diagrams and blueprints • Experience performing equipment maintenance in accordance with ANSI/NETA standards for Electrical Power • Basic understanding of safe-work requirements • Ability to identify and resolve complex problems • Ability to work independently and exercise sound judgment • Team player with high integrity and professionalism • Effective written and verbal communication in English • Ability to follow procedures and sequenced work instructions • Ability to lift 45–50 lbs • Ability to facilitate 24x7 operations and on-call duty as needed • Ability to travel domestically for at least two weeks at a time, up to 70% as needed • High school diploma and 9 years’ experience in electrical field; OR technical diploma, journeyman certification, or electrician certification in a technical field and 5 years’ relevant industry experience; OR 5 years’ electrical-related military experience and 2 years’ relevant commercial electrical experience • Active driver’s license and minimum 5 years’ driving experience • Data center or other critical power installation experience desired
