📋 Description

• Travel to new markets or installations • Prepare systems for initial startup • Guide installations through final acceptance testing for customer load connection • Provide customers with technical expertise on fuel cell system maintenance, site maintenance, safety observation, and troubleshooting • Support PSV and commissioning activities in the home market • Travel to other markets to support commissioning when home-market needs are lower • Support regular Field Service Technician activities in the home market • Manage internal and external communication

🎯 Requirements

• Electrical experience required; troubleshooting and repair skills • Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting/repair skills; understanding of mechanical systems, piping, plumbing and valve operation preferred • Prior electrician experience with 3-phase systems, UPS systems, maintenance, electrical generation and distribution systems, power electronics, Automatic Transfer Switch Systems, or microprocessor-based control platforms highly beneficial • Experience with test and measurement equipment, electrical codes, and personnel safety products and procedures • Ability to read and interpret electrical single-line diagrams and blueprints • Experience performing equipment maintenance in accordance with ANSI/NETA standards for Electrical Power • Basic understanding of safe working requirements • Ability to work independently and in teams in a fast-paced environment • Effective written and verbal communication in English • Ability to follow written and verbal procedures and sequenced work instructions • Ability to lift 45–50 lbs • Ability to facilitate 24x7 operations and on-call duty as needed • Ability to travel domestically at least two weeks at a time, up to 70% as needed • High school diploma and 9 years’ experience in the electrical field; or technical diploma, Journeymen Certification, or Electrician Certification in a technical field and 5 years of relevant industry experience; or 5 years of electrical-related military experience and 2 years of relevant commercial electrical experience • Active driver’s license and minimum 5 years of driving experience • Data center or other critical power installation experience desired
