• Assists department management in identifying, establishing, implementing, and monitoring business and financial processes • Prepares and participates in project planning, analysis, specifications, designs, development, implementation, and operations • Works cooperatively with Professional Billing Office employees and managers • Involved in the process to facilitate requests from departments to add/change/delete operational flows • Works with Management and FPF Practices to review potential issues and provide education to billing staff
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Nursing, or a closely related field is required • Five or more years of experience in healthcare preferred • General knowledge of professional billing flows including charge entry, editing system functionality, and revenue cycle tasks • Interviewing and investigative skills • Superior analytical skills • Excellent writing, organizational and interpersonal skills • Technical skills including knowledge of Excel, Access, Word, and PowerPoint
