• Report Development: Design, develop, and deploy custom reports and dashboards within the Epic EHR system using Epic’s reporting tools such as Reporting Workbench, Radar, SlicerDicer using Caboodle and Clarity data sources. • Data Analysis: Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical specifications for report development. • Collaboration: Work closely with stakeholders, including healthcare providers, administrators, and IT teams, to gather requirements and understand reporting needs. • Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve issues related to Epic reports and data discrepancies. • Documentation: Create and maintain detailed documentation for report specifications, development processes, and user guides. • Compliance: Ensure reports comply with industry regulations, standards, and organizational policies. • Continuous Improvement: Stay current with updates and best practices related to Epic reporting tools.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Healthcare Informatics, or within a related field preferred. • Relevant certifications in Epic Reporting preferred • Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in report development, with a focus on healthcare reporting in Epic EHR systems. • Experience with Epic’s Reporting Workbench, Radar, Caboodle and Clarity is required. • Experience in lieu of education is preferred. • Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL, and knowledge of programming language. • Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and ETL processes is a plus. • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data and translate it into actionable insights. • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels. • Detail-Oriented: Exceptional attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
