📋 Description

• Comply with cancer registry operations as directed by the Senior Cancer Registrar • Perform work in compliance with facility needs, State, and Commission on Cancer requirements • Work remotely within the Tumor Registry department

🎯 Requirements

• Associate’s degree (or equivalent combination of formal education and experience) • Certified Tumor Registrar (CTR®) through the National Cancer Registrars Association's (NCRA) Council • For candidates with an Associate’s degree or coding program certificate, 3 years minimum relevant healthcare experience • For candidates with high school diploma, at least 5 years relevant healthcare experience • Knowledge of medical terminology and tumor registry coding principles (e.g. ICD-0, FORDS, SEER, etc.) • Extensive knowledge and advanced education of American College of Surgeons (ACoS) and Commission on Cancer (COC) accreditation standards • Previous registry management experience • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint • Proficiency with Cancer Registry System (METRIQ or equivalent) • Excellent organizational and communication skills • Ability to work independently and efficiently with strong attention to detail • Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize workload • Understanding of and adherence to institutional confidentiality guidelines
