• Lead the “People Side” of large-scale digital, operational, and AI-driven initiatives, ensuring high adoption and minimal resistance • Design and facilitate human-centered journey mapping sessions to identify friction points for frontline staff and stakeholders • Identify stakeholders requiring buy-in and partner with the Strategic Communications team to craft data-driven narratives fostering trust and alignment • Provide hands-on coaching and upskilling to local leaders and staff in partnership with the Workforce Development Team • Conduct qualitative and quantitative change impact and organizational readiness assessments in rural and urban health settings • Advise local health departments, community health centers, and other local health partners adopting AI-enabled tools and workflows • Translate technical AI capabilities into practical, human-centered guidance and address concerns about trust, data privacy, and job impact • Ensure responsible, equity-centered AI adoption at the point of care and service delivery • Act as a primary point of contact for diverse coalitions and resolve operational issues by addressing underlying human capacity needs • Perform approximately 85% project work, 5% administrative work, and 10% business development • Lead or co-lead larger technical and advisory projects and contribute to project design • Independently drive work with minimal day-to-day/project oversight • May supervise Associates and Senior Associates • Manage projects to exemplary client satisfaction • Contribute to and/or lead proposals
• Master’s degree in Public Health or a related field • Minimum of 4-6 years of relevant experience required, including 2 or more years in a consulting firm environment • Experience in organizational change management or public health leadership and consulting • Experience with health systems in Massachusetts or other Northeastern states (Maine, New Hampshire, Connecticut, Rhode Island, New York or New Jersey) is highly preferred • Minimum 1-4 years of client-facing experience • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced consulting environment • Mastery of change management frameworks (e.g., Prosci ADKAR, Kotter) and experience applying them to people-powered systems • Ability to “zoom out” for big-picture visioning and “dive in” to execute critical details during peak workloads • Proficiency in data visualization tools (Smartsheet, Tableau) to build “readiness” dashboards that track employee sentiment and adoption metrics • Working knowledge of AI-enabled tools and processes relevant to public health operations • Ability to translate technical AI concepts into accessible, actionable guidance for frontline staff and local partners with varying levels of technical comfort • Prosci or equivalent Change Management certification is preferred • Deep commitment to health equity and a desire to build sustainable, inclusive public health infrastructure • Alignment with BME’s shared values • Must be able to work within the U.S.; BME Strategies is unable to sponsor work-related visas
