📋 Description

• Lead project design and attend to client relationships • Serve as a technical expert and/or individual contributor on specialized workstreams • Act as a project and technical lead • Provide subject matter expertise and mentor junior staff • Manage projects to exemplary client satisfaction • Surface business opportunities with existing clients and contribute technical expertise to proposals and RFP responses • Maintain and improve project tools and repositories such as Jira, Confluence, SharePoint, and SmartSheets • Coordinate and facilitate recurring team and project meetings • Capture decisions, action items, and next steps and track follow-through • Support scheduling and team coordination and maintain visibility into team capacity and project cadence • Track dependencies, risks, and action items across workstreams • Identify gaps and help escalate or resolve misalignment • Coordinate with IT Project Management, maintain project tracker updates, and provide regular status reports • Serve as a liaison between the IT PMO and the Agile Release Train • Work with the Massachusetts statewide Metrik public health initiative to modernize workflows, data collection, reporting, and performance management • Collaborate with Flourish & Thrive Labs as the third-party integrator • Allocate work approximately 85% to project work, 5% to administrative work, and 10% to business development

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum 8 years experience required • 4+ years in a consulting firm environment • 5+ years client-facing experience, including 2+ in project leadership roles • MPH or similar relevant graduate degree • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced consulting environment • Alignment with BME’s shared values • Strong organizational and project management skills • Ability to manage multiple workstreams, track details, and maintain momentum across competing priorities • Proven track record of owning and managing large projects across teams • Ability to synthesize complex information into clear, concise summaries, action items, and next steps • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Experience working in ambiguous environments • Strong meeting facilitation skills • Strong attention to detail and follow-through • Preferred: collaboration with state public health agencies and IT teams • Preferred: recognized project management certification • Software build experience • Understanding of technology terminology and ability to translate it across stakeholders • Experience with the SAFe Agile framework for solution development • Scrum Master certification preferred • Must be based within the U.S. • BME Strategies is unable to sponsor work-related visas
