📋 Description

• Serve as a trusted medical partner for internal stakeholders and the healthcare community • Identify disease- and product-related medical needs within a defined geography • Develop and maintain relationships with Thought Leaders, Healthcare Providers, academic and community research leaders, and access stakeholders • Conduct meaningful scientific exchange through one-to-one meetings, group presentations, and remote interactions • Answer scientific, unsolicited product, and HEOR-related questions • Present scientifically accurate information and respond to questions in compliance with procedures and ethical and legal guidelines • Assess the medical landscape, customer needs, treatment strategies, products, unmet medical needs, clinical trials, HEOR, scientific activities, competitive landscape, and healthcare models • Identify opportunities for disease-state initiatives, collaborative research, and investigator-sponsored research • Attend medical congresses and local/regional meetings • Collect and communicate meaningful medical insights to medical and commercial organizations • Contribute to the Medical Plan and develop geography-specific Field Medical and Thought Leader interaction plans • Contribute to cross-functional institution/account plans • Contribute to scientifically meaningful medical programs and projects • Collaborate with cross-matrix field teams • Support medical/scientific training and provide scientific updates to internal stakeholders • Provide scientific support at promotional meetings and support BMS-contracted speakers • Participate in assigned congress activities • Support interventional and non-interventional research studies, including study-site identification and patient recruitment • Provide study and site feasibility recommendations to clinical development teams • Support HCPs in investigator-sponsored research submission, execution, and follow-up • Ensure pharmacovigilance procedures are understood and applied by investigators and alert BMS personnel to adverse events • Support CRO-sponsored studies • Spend the majority of time in the field with external customers

🎯 Requirements

• Advanced degree in medical/biosciences (MD, PhD, PharmD, DNP, PA-C, etc.) • Minimum 3–5 years of MSL or clinical practice experience • Current MSL or clinical practice experience in psychiatry, mental health, or schizophrenia • Proven track record establishing, maintaining, and enhancing effective collegial relationships with external experts • Knowledge of disease area and scientific publications • Knowledge of scientific or clinical area, competitive landscape, and patient treatment trends • Knowledge of clinical trial design and process • Knowledge of national healthcare and access environment • Knowledge of HEOR core concepts • Excellent spoken and written English language skills • Ability to work independently and act as a team player • Ability to translate scientific or clinical data into understandable and valuable information for physicians • Good communication and presentation skills for presenting scientific and clinical data to research or healthcare professionals • Experience developing peer-to-peer relationships with Thought Leaders, scientists, and community-based HCPs • Ability to quickly and comprehensively learn new subject areas and environments • High level of ethics and integrity • Responsible and safe driving history • Ability to drive a company-provided car • Must be able to drive a BMS-provided vehicle between locations • Must live within the managed territory or within 50 miles of territory borders
