📋 Description

• Lead a robotic one-man survey crew and manage all aspects of field work, including boundary, topographic, construction layout, and as-built surveys • Utilize robotic Trimble total stations and GPS with Trimble Data Collectors to complete precise measurements • Perform field calculations and sketching • Download and compile field data, checking for completeness and accuracy • Manage quality control for survey documents, including field notes, sketches, and plans • Maintain and perform minor preventative maintenance on field equipment and vehicles • Oversee corporate credit card, mileage reimbursements, and related reporting • Perform surveys independently to meet project deadlines • Comply with company policies, safety procedures, and standards • Coordinate field operations, manage data collection, and ensure survey accuracy and quality • Collaborate with project teams and clients to deliver surveying results

🎯 Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED and/or equivalent experience • College coursework in surveying, math, or related field preferred • 3+ years of field experience using robotic total stations and data collectors • Experience with Trimble equipment and software preferred • Strong math, computer, and problem-solving skills • Ability to work outdoors for extended periods in varied terrain and weather conditions • Physical ability to lift at least 50 lbs. • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required • Willingness to travel, work overtime, and stay overnight as needed • Self-motivated with strong leadership, organization, and communication skills • Applicants must have current authorization to work in the United States • Bohler does not sponsor petition-based employment visas requiring formal USCIS filings, such as H-1B or PERM-based green cards
